The Importance Of An Enclosure (Safety Net)
Safety is the most important factor to consider when buying a trampoline. Safety concerns have kept many families from enjoying the tremendous health and fitness benefits of trampolining.
The US Consumer Product Safety Commission now recommends the use of an enclosure, whenever a garden trampoline is used, to reduce the risk of injury. 80% of trampoline injuries are caused by the user falling off the trampoline. Staged Bounce Trampoline Features
- The most important feature of a staged bounce trampoline is that it utilizes a patented technology called StagedBounce. StagedBounce technology engages the springs of the trampoline incrementally, rather than all at once. This provides a more forgiving landing. It also provides a great bounce . This is achieved because just 50% of the springs are engaged, the instant your feet come down on the mat on a jump. The rest of the springs are engaged a second later. This provides a softer landing and a safer rebound and a greater return bounce
- Only JumpSport has invented a patent pending Sure-Lock™ snap system, to prevent the frame from twisting and deforming. All other manufacturers build their frames with slip-fit (male/female) pieces that rotate and twist open over time, causing the frame to become loose and wobbly
- The Extra-Stretch™ High-Performance 8.5″ springs are longer than those found on most backyard trampolines, and provide an exceptional bounce that kids and adults can enjoy. These springs provide excellent bounce, with less injury potential, than the stiffer, harder landing you get on most other trampoline brands. Most other brands use shorter, lower quality springs. The staged bounce trampoline uses high strength looped straps and steel V rings for connecting the springs. Never buy a trampoline bed with grommets that are punched through the fabric… a very poor design that causes the bed to tear and fail prematurely
- The Spring/Frame pad is 11.5 inches wide, and 1″ thick at the frame tapering to 1/2″. High density, closed cell, foam padding is used across the entire pad surface, not just at the edge. This is an important safety feature. Many other trampoline brands use padding just at the edge
- The strong frame, combined with the longer springs, allows the Staged Bounce trampoline to handle the deep bounce of an adult weighing up to 240 pounds
- The bed has 10 rows of stitching and a UV shield (compared to just 4 rows of stitching and no UV shield on most other brands)
Staged Bounce Trampoline Warranty
- A ten year warranty covers trampoline frame and enclosure poles.
- A one year warranty covers the jumping mats (pads), the hardware, springs, spring pad coverings, pole pads, straps, and shock cords.
Most other trampoline manufacturers provide a maximum of a 5 year warranty on the frame and no warranty on the, mat, springs, pad coverings etc
